Chrysanthemums are harbingers of autumn and their gorgeous blooms last throughout the fall season. They are perennial plants that can be planted in the garden and will continue to grow and bloom from year to year. Their multi petaled flowers suggest solar energy and can be found in every color but blue.
The ancient Chinese and Japanese greatly admired chrysanthemums and were inspired to portray mums in their artwork. This flower was considered a royal flower. Perhaps it’s solar energy shining through?
Chrysanthemums are said to be magickally useful for protection, love and beauty. I say: why not use them to beautify and protect your home at the same time?
I was reading a light hearted novel recently about a witch who was a florist. Occasionally the florist witch would create a bouquet for someone and enchant the arrangement with certain magickal energies (nothing baneful, of course). This practice struck me as perhaps a useful way of using floral energies. (💡💡) If you’re taking flowers to a sick friend, why not charge them with healing energies? ✨

So I shot a YouTube video showing how I created a magickal mums bouquet to beautify and protect my home. The link is below:
I hope you get a chance to create your own magickal bouquet using the power of chrysanthemums! I bet it will be enchanting!
Autumn Blessings,
